The #1 Bullpen in MLB?

I know what you may be thinking... "That picture has to be fake." It's not. It's very real, and now we can all sit back and laugh at whoever made this list.

Zack Wheeler absolutely shoved through 6 innings against the Braves, posting 5 Ks and 0 ERs. The very second he exited the game, all hell broke loose, and the bullpen managed to ruin his stellar Opening Day outing. Strahm stunk, Hoffman showed up and did his job (Topper should've put him in against Duvall), Alvarado shit the bed, and Connor Brogdon's first pitch was a wild pitch letting in a run...

It's just inexcusable, sloppy relief pitching from the "#1 bullpen in baseball."

This game encapsulates a lot of baseball that the Phillies played last year. The Day Care carried us offensively (Bohm, Stott, Marsh's HR), and the bullpen was shaky and blew leads. It was just a frustrating game, to say the least. Harper, Realmuto, and Castellanos were absolutely lifeless at the plate when it mattered. Schwarbs and Trea struggled mightily as well. You can't have your nine-figure salary guys look like they've been sitting on the couch doing nothing for the past 5 months... This team can't win that way. Especially against this Braves team.

It is Opening Day, and it is still early, but the game was there for the taking. Being annoyed and frustrated is an acceptable response to this game... regardless of what day it is or how early it is... The Phillies should have won this game.

That being said, the Nationals, Marlins, and Mets are all 0-1 as well. It's certainly not panic mode... yet.
